Samesyn, Ubunye, Togetherness. It’s a celebration of the idea that life gets richer when people live in community, and act with unity of purpose.
As a team, our unity of purpose at Samesyn was to discover regions and vineyards that capture the imagination, and showcase lesser-known regions and varietals.
Our earliest adventures took us down to the cool, dry, ragged, windswept coastal area of Cape Agulhas; an incredibly exciting emerging region. We have since had the pleasure of working with fruit Groenekloof, Elim and Voor-Paardeberg.
Our Core Values
The name Samesyn means “Togetherness”, but perhaps a more complete sense of the idea is “a sense of community created by a common goal”; in this instance the goal of exploring emerging regions, and unusual cultivars, and expressing them in liquid form.
